Hide AdDr Craig Neal, headteacher of Bexhill Academy, said the school experienced a ‘major external issue’ early yesterday morning.
He added: “We have been working with our IT engineers and East Sussex County Council to try to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, this issue remains unresolved.
“This has led to the difficult decision that, for the purpose of safeguarding our student community, we have no other option than to close the academy to students on Wednesday, September 4.
“We understand and appreciate how disappointing this is for our students, parents/carers and our staff.
