It also wants to offer the community a much-needed boost after a challenging 2020 by hosting some very special guests who have been the heroes of the country this year.

Donna Bull from owner Kent Entertainments Limited said: “We are creating something magical here at Sharnfold Farm for the festive period.

Tickets are going very well and Boris’s announcement will mean more people will now be looking to celebrate Christmas with something special to do.

“We felt it was only right to invite some of the people locally who have truly gone above and beyond during the two Lockdowns.”

On Friday December 4, they are looking to invite 15 Covid heroes, people who have gone that bit extra to make life easier for others.

It could be a neighbour who has done shopping for a shielded friend, it could be someone who has telephoned a lonely person on a regular basis, it could be anyone who has made a difference, however small.

The 15 people will be treated like Royalty on December 4 with their own special screening starting at 4pm and will be able to bring a guest to enjoy the experience with. It is totally Covid secure.

Nominations can be made, in confidence, by emailing [email protected]

They are staging three charity performances on

December 10 at 4pm It’s A Wonderful Life

December 14 at 4pm Miracle on 34th Street

December 15 at 4pm How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

They are offering the tickets at half price to charities and then inviting local businesses and groups to join a Roll of Honour by paying the other as their festive giveaway.

They are offering special prices for school trips or companies wishing to stage their very own Christmas party night Covid secure and with a difference.

Films to be staged between December 4-23 include Home Alone, Love Actually, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Die Hard, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Elf, It’s A Wonderful Life, Miracle on 34th Street and The Holiday.

But it’s much more than just watching a film. The experience starts with a wander through the snow-covered wintry wonderland surrounded by Christmas trees adorned with festive lights and decorations.
