Eastbourne Cafe of the Year winner and runners up announced

The Eastbourne and Hailsham Herald recently asked our readers to vote for their favourite cafe for the Cafe of The Year 2020 competition.

Votes have been collated and counted, and it was a close race with so many quality cafes in the area, but we are now pleased to announce the results:

The winner is:

Ocean View Bakery, 7 Eastbourne Road, Pevensey Bay.

Runners up:

Second Place: The Mad Catter Cat Cafe, 7 Station Parade, Eastbourne.

Third Place: Fresco, 235 Terminus Road, Eastbourne.

And our remaining in the Top 10:

Fourth Place: Roots Urban Farmshop, 8 Grove Road, Eastbourne.

Fifth Place: Bay Side Diner, 4 Eastbourne Road, Pevensey Bay

Sixth Place: Mugshots Cafe, 13 Meads Street, Eastbourne.

Seventh Place: Cuckoo Cakes & Cakes, 2 Brassey Avenue, Eastbourne

Eighth Place: Boardwalk Cafe, Eastbourne Pier, Grand Parade, Eastbourne

Tenth Place: Favaloso, 19-25 Carlisle Road, Eastbourne

Awards will be presented in a future edition of the Eastbourne Herald series.
