Staff at Rother Valley Together (RVT), which offers support to residents with difficulties getting around independently, packed their minibus with Easter eggs and bunches of daffodils to deliver to more than 50 members in Midhurst and surrounding villages.

Manager of RVT, Caroline Henderson, described a ‘sense of optimism’ when visiting the club’s members.

She said: “It went really well. Although we have been doing weekly calls, people know the tide has turned and the fact that the clocks have gone forward and we have gone into spring. It was really nice to speak to them all and all the members of staff did the visits so they could see us all.

“We want to say thank you to the Midhurst and Petworth Rotary Club for donating daffodils to go to all of our members.”

The club, which met at The Grange in Midhurst prior to the pandemic, is aiming to reopen at the end of May and new members will be welcome to join.
