Elf on the Shelf returns to Hassocks: how to get involved

Elves are on the loose on Hassocks High Street for the second year in a row.

Twenty-four naughty elves are loose on Hassocks High Street and causing mischief ─ and Marchants Estate Agents needs you to find them.

The challenge has returned for a second year, after raising over £200 for St Peter and St James Hospice in 2018.

Bennita Adair George, design and advertising for Marchants Estate Agents, said: "This will be the second year it is taking place, last year we started the event as we thought it would be a fun idea to join the community of Hassocks together, both shop owners and residents whilst raising money for St Peter and St James Hospice.

"This was our chosen charity as having experienced their wonderful services we realise how precious this organisation is to our community and want to support its future in helping others at their time of need.

"This event was so popular last year we want to expand the idea, raising more money for this great cause but also spreading Christmas joy and fun throughout the high street, highlighting what great independent shops and businesses we have here in Hassocks."

Each elf is dressed up and hiding in shop windows along the High Street.

When you find them, use the form from outside Marchants Estate Agents or its website to fill in the name of each elf under the picture of the shop you found it in.

Once you have found all 24 elves and completed the form, post it into the elf box inside Marchants Estate Agents with your £1 donation before Tuesday, December 17 to be in with a chance of winning a Christmas goodie bag
