Founder and designer, Nigel Swallow, said: “It’s a celebration of the city. The idea from the beginning was always to instil a sense of joy in where we, the community of Brighton and Hove, lived.

“A celebration of both individuality and community amidst all Brighton has to offer via landscapes, nature, and the architecture. What it did more than we hoped - was connect people.”

Images for this edition were selected during a three-week public feedback design process in a pop-up shop at 11 Dukes Lane during October.

New images are featured alongside favourites from the last 19 editions.

The calendar also includes six pages of historic Brighton events as chosen by the public.

This will be the final edition of the calendar which has been released every year for the past 20 years.

The calendar template will be given to ArtHoc, a new Brighton art co-operative, which plans to use funds for a city centre gallery with living space above for artists and studios.
