A spokesman for East Sussex Fire said one fire engine was sent to Glovers Lane, Sidley, Bexhill, at 5.31pm on Sunday.
When firefighters arrived at the scene, the car was ‘well alight’, according to a spokesman for East Sussex Fire.
Firefighters used one breathing apparatus and one hose reel to put it out.
There were no reports of any injuries.
East Sussex Fire did not disclose a cause for the fire. A spokesman said police have been informed of the incident.
