The Old Church on the fringe of Amberley village at Houghton was built in the 1880s for the Duke of Norfolk and now has planning consent for conversion into a house.

It is among lots in an on-line auction being held by auctioneers Clive Emson on June 17 and is expected to sell for £480-£520,000.

Sam Kinloch, a Clive Emson director, said: “We understand this unique detached property was built for the Duke of Norfolk in the 1880s and has recently been used as an antiques retail space.
