Hassocks neighbours win postcode lottery

The neighbours netted a £1,000 windfall when BN6 9XJ was announced as a prize winner with People’s Postcode Lottery on Saturday, August 8.

Judie McCourt, ambassador for the People’s Postcode Lottery, sent her well-wishes to the winners.

She said: “What a fantastic surprise for our winners.

“Congratulations to them and I hope they enjoy their winnings.”

A minimum of 32 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities.

Players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised more than £600million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.

This draw was promoted by Girlguiding which has received more than £5.8 million in funding from the players of People’s Postcode Lottery.

Girlguiding is active in every part of the UK, giving girls and young women a space where they can be themselves, have fun, build brilliant friendships, gain valuable life skills and make a positive difference to their lives and their communities.

Many good causes close to the winners have also benefitted from players’ support, and local charities can now apply for funding.
