A collection of thoughts and inspirational wisdom for the current times, the book is fully illustrated with beautiful colour photographs followed by spiritual words of wisdom.

May’s aim with the book is to reach out to anyone feeling the effects of these strange times or to those recently bereaved and bring some much needed words of comfort. May was married to Denis for 61 years but was widowed seven years ago. She also lost one of her four sons this year to mental illness and cancer and another son recently contracted Covid-19 but has now recovered, so she has first hand experience of loss and fear and the emotions attached.

May has always followed a spiritual path from listening to her psychic grandmother as a child. She receives the words for her books by sitting, during meditation, with a pad and pen and jotting down her thoughts.

She happened to show her jottings to friend Margaret Trowell who immediately thought there had to be another book in them, so she typed them up and contacted another friend, Marion Eaton, a local published author, who assisted May in putting the book together and getting it published. “I am so grateful to Marion as I never dreamed I would have another book published at this time in my life” said May. Her first two books were published in 1994 and 2006.

May said: “I hope this treasury of wisdom will assist all those seeking to understand the meaning of life and give some comfort”.

Pearls of Wisdom is available from Amazon.co.uk and Lulu.com. Priced £8.94.
