Jasmine Harvey and daughter Sascha have had French bulldog Teddy since he was a puppy. He’s now four years old.
She said: “A few days ago my boy stopped jumping up on the sofa and I was concerned he had hurt his back. We discovered Teddy had hurt his spine and had paralysis in his hind legs.

“The staff put Teddy on a ventilator where he luckily stabilised. The next week is crucial for his recovery. Unfortunately our insurance only covers £2,500 and all his surgery care and treatment for 10 days is estimated at between £6,500 to £7,000.”
In desperation Jasmine has launched a gofundme appeal in the hope of getting Teddy the treatment he needs to be able to fully recover.
She said: “This is something I never thought I would have to do. My heart is breaking and I am scared I will lose my best friend.
