The Fuel Poverty Project encourages those who receive a government winter fuel allowance that they do not need to donate it to help others pay their bills.

The club is working with local agencies to identify those most in need, and is aiming to pay their bill directly to the energy company.

For cheques, please make payable to Rotary Club of Horsham Benevolent Fund, and send to: Hazel Cottage, Exwood Lane, Newdigate, Surrey RH5 5AR.

The club is asking for Gift Aid information or your contact details so a member of Horsham Rotary can ask you directly.

The Christmas Toy Donation Station project is asking people to donate any good-quality hard toys (soft toys are restricted due to Covid-19) at Rotary’s Christmas unit at the old King & Chasemore building, 13 Carfax. The club is taking donations between December 3 and December 19 on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 10am–4pm. (This assumes lockdown restrictions are lifted on December 2).

The toys will be cleaned, wrapped, and given to families in the Horsham district that would struggle financially to get their children any gifts this year.

If you would prefer to make a financial contribution so Rotary can purchase new toys, visit the shop during opening hours or contact Horsham Rotary at [email protected]
