Amy Brierley is hoping to help raise funds to support Cancer Research UK’s life-saving research with her fundraising challenge during March – and it’s a cause close to her heart.

The 28-year-old said: “Having recently lost my grandad and aunt to cancer, raising money for a cancer charity is what I have been thinking about.

“For Cancer Research UK I have completed the Race for Life and shaved my hair – and I’ve held a coffee morning for Macmillan – so this time I am going to challenge myself to do 10,000 steps this March.

“Any amount is very appreciated, it all goes to a good cause.”

Amy is hoping to raise £200 and will be updating her fundraising page with her progress and daily step count.

Amy’s husband, Matthew Brierley, sad: “This is also a challenge for her as she has anxiety so doing this will be a huge step for her.
