Lancing kickboxing club is fighting for the NHS

A Lancing kickboxing club is planning a two-hour session to raise money for an NHS charity.

The BKA Biggs Kickboxing Academy, based at South Coast Gym, will be running the session on Zoom on Saturday.

Personal trainer Michelle Biggs, who runs the club, said: “I am doing the two-hour kickboxing session to raise money for the NHS. So far, we have raised £365.

“Our club wanted to do something to raise money for the NHS in these difficult times. Anyone can join in, it’s not for just club members. Please get involved guys and girls and help us smash our target.”

The chosen charity is brighterway and all money raised will go towards the frontline staff at Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust to support them during the Covid-19 pandemic.
