The fundraising pop-up will return for its third year on November 20 in aid of Rockinghorse Children’s Charity – the official fundraising arm of the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital.

Earlier this month, The Grand Hotel announced it would host the event with Kenny Tutt, who owns the restaurant Pitch in Worthing, and 2013 MasterChef: The Professionals winner Steven Edwards, who owns Etch, in Hove, two of the chefs set to host.

Joining them will be Alan White, of The Grand’s seafood restaurant and bar GB1, Duncan Ray, of The Little Fish Market, in Hove, and David Marrow, of Terre à Terre, on East Street, Brighton.

It will see each chef introduce their dish and concept from a multi-course menu that will include an amuse-bouche, a starter plus fish, main and dessert courses followed by coffee and mince pies.

Proceeds will support services at Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital, where Rockinghorse helps to improve the quality of life for vulnerable children.

CEO at Rockinghorse Children’s Charity Ryan Heal says: “Since the inception of the Chef’s Table event two years ago, we’ve been blown away by the generosity of the guests at the event but mostly the generosity of the incredible chefs who donate their time, staff and culinary expertise for the benefit of our charity.

“Funds raised from the previous Chefs’ Table events have enabled us, at Rockinghorse, to continue our work at The Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital providing them with life saving, cutting edge medical equipment and resources that they so desperately need.

“We are thrilled to be involved again this year for what is becoming a real ‘hot ticket’ in town and totally unique for the city.”

General Manager at The Grand Andrew Mosley says: “We couldn’t be more delighted to host yet another year of Chefs’ Table.

“It feels like a real legacy that’s been started within Brighton’s foodie scene, and it’s great to see some of the city’s best chefs pulling together in support of a great cause.

“No doubt it will be another great year of fun, food and drink with plenty of money raised for Rockinghorse.”
