AN ALDWICK girl's fundraising campaign was boosted by one of her young friends.

Erin Aldridge, five, is hoping to have a life-changing operation to overcome her cerebral palsy.

The £40,000 needed for Erin’s Dream to Dance gained £600 from Megan McGahey, five, who ran 5km along Brighton seafront for her. They both went to First Steps nursery.

Erin’s parents, Ashley and Victoria, also attended the Creations Hair and Beauty hearts and diamonds ball at Rowlands Castle Golf Club which raised £4,730 for the appeal.

Creations will be hosting a 24 hour Cut-A-Thon on May 10/11 in aid of Erin aimed at shift workers. Book a place on 01243 533052 or [email protected]
