Mid Sussex Civil Service and Friends welcomes members ahead of busy 2020

Mid Sussex Civil Service and Friends retirement group meets in Burgess Hill and is anticipating an interesting and challenging 2020.

The group, whose AGM was last Wednesday, is for any retired person not just civil servants.

It has activities organised up to and including October next year. As members heard at the AGM in 2020 there will be a talk on scams, a concert by the Sheddingdean Strummers, a talk by Gilly Halcrow entitled Whatever Happened to Christopher Robin, a presentation by David Pearson from the Guild of professional Toastmasters and more.

There are also a couple of musical meetings and Scrabble for all.

The group meets on the fourth Wednesday of the month at the Bolnore Room in Kings Church at 2pm. The next meeting is on Wednesday, February 26.

Meetings usually finish about 4pm.
