Midhurst charity appoints new chair

Richard Watt has lived in and around Midhurst all of his life and is a serving town councillor.

He has already secured National Lottery funding for the charity which comes as a relief due to no money coming in throughout the pandemic.

Tandem have supported the communities in Midhurst and Petworth taking residents who otherwise could not get to the Riverbank Surgery for their Covid vaccinations.

Richard said: “I am very proud to say we have transported in excess of 150 people to Vaccination and hospital appointments this year so far.”

Tandem’s outings will resume at the end of June.
