Missing Eastbourne 11-year-old found

A boy reported missing from his home in Eastbourne earlier today (Wednesday June 10) has been found.

George Moore, 11, went missing from his home earlier this afternoon and Sussex Police tweeted at 4.20pm asking the public to look out for him.

A police spokesperson later said, at about 4.45pm, the boy had been found and that a police helicopter was called in to assist.

A Sussex Police spokesperson said, “A National Police Air Service helicopter was deployed on the search. We did have a missing 11-year-old in the town a little earlier who has now been found.”
