Monthly market returns to Burgess Hill café from next month

The Mercantile Adventurers, café which also offers hairdressing, furniture and gifts, will hold the market at its Cyprus Road location from 12 noon until 3pm on Saturday, May 15.

A spokesman for The Mercantile Adventurers said: “After what feels like a lifetime ago, we are so pleased to be able to invite you to join us in our backyard for our first market this year.

“Also market days are bonkers in the cafe so please order in advance if you don’t want to be disappointed.

“Save the date, we can’t wait to see you!”

The afternoon market will feature live music, food, drinks, and ‘a carefully selected group of interesting stalls from local businesses’.

The café, called the Goddess Café, serves superfoods including salads, soup, vegan sausage rolls and a range of coffees and teas.

There is also hairdressing on offer from Beyond the Fringe, as well as furniture and gifts.

The Mercantile Adventurers can be found at 40 Cyprus Road in Burgess Hill and the market will run monthly.
