John Cassidy said: "Music and drinking means much merriment. No, no, no."

Lauren Culverwell said: "I really hope this goes ahead, I was in the park last weekend to meet friends and we talked about how great something like that would be."

John Turbefield said: "Excellent, providing decent social distancing measures are put in place.

"As for those who live nearby and keep complaining about people having fun in a park such as with the ice rink... If that sort of thing annoys you, why on earth did you buy/rent a house next to a park?"

Tom Clark said: "Last year we went to a pop-up music venue in one of the Salisbury's parks. Families everywhere enjoying picnics, low key live band playing in the background, car parkks full to the brim, food vendors earning a wage and everyone was happy.

"Maybe a little bit too much like fun for Chichester though."

Pauline Gair said: "Yes and Fishbourne Mill Morris dancers would love to dance there."
