National pub chain ‘extremely pleased’ to reopen Sussex venues

The owner of a nation chain of pubs has said he is ‘extremely pleased’ to be able to reopen.

Wetherspoon chairman Tim Martin, who owns several Sussex Publs including the Lynd Cross in Horsham and the Dolphin and Anchor in Chichester, said: “ We are extremely pleased that pubs are reopening on July 4 after a long hiatus.”

He said the firm will discuss further details with pub managers and staff before commenting further on the details of the reopening.
