The artwork shows a girl holding a balloon with the EU flag on it and appears to have been painted in North Pallant to mark Brexit.

"Not everyone will appreciated it but Chichester has always been a city that celebrates culture, regardless of it being art, music or theatre."

Despite a majority of comments speaking of the works favourably, some readers appeared less than happy with the art.

"It's utter rubbish," said Joe Doherty, "It defaces the building and should be removed by the council like any other graffiti. It's also embarrassing and infantil that the city can't distinguish between are and juvenile scribbling."
