In the afternoon, students attended a workshop with representatives from Scorch comics.

They took part in creating their own monster and received personalised cartoons from acclaimed artist Boo Cook.

The day was a great success and was enjoyed by the students.

One Willingdon School pupil said: “Definitely inspiration for imagination.”
