Passing motorists flagged down car that was 'on fire'

Passing motorists alerted a car's occupants that it was 'on fire', according to police.
There were no injuries reported and the car was left at the side of the A23 near the Pease Pottage Roundabout.

Hide AdA Sussex Police spokesman said: "Police were made aware of a car on fire near the Pease Pottage roundabout around 12.30pm on Thursday, April 22.
"It was reported that the car’s occupants had been flagged down by a passing motorist advising them of the fire.
"The vehicle pulled over and all three people got out with no injuries reported. The fire was extinguished and the vehicle was left for recovery."
