With the postponement of ‘freedom day’ – originally set for June 21 when all lockdown restrictions would have been removed – many charity events have yet again been pushed back or cancelled.

The KM Charity Team’s abseil challenge gives causes of any size, no matter how restricted their resources, the chance to benefit from a major fundraising event.

Abseiling experts Hatt Adventures will instruct and guide brave participants making the knee-knocking 115ft descent to the cheers of well-wishers and friends.

No previous abseiling experience is necessary but participants must be aged 14 or over and weigh no more than 16st. Take part just for fun or to raise sponsorship for any cause from a PTA or community centre to a major nationwide charity.
