Photos of Haywards Heath’s Dolphin Leisure Centre interior and staff from the eighties uncovered

A Haywards Heath resident has sent in photos he took of the Dolphin Leisure Centre, Haywards Heath, during the 80s.

An Eastbourne resident has sent in photos he took of the Dolphin Leisure Centre, Haywards Heath, during the 80s. Michael Tutt, who worked at Worcester Controls for 25 years assembling the valves, said: “I having fond memories of the Dolphin Leisure Centre. I regularly frequented the centre, as I was working nearby.

“I have great memories of the staff members who worked in the cafe during the early years after the construction of the leisure complex. It was very popular, an exciting new addition as a sports venue for the population of Haywards Heath and surrounding area. I can only guess approximate dates, but I would have thought the photos are from the early to mid 80s.” Do you have any old photos of places around Mid Sussex that you think would be of interest to our readers?
