Police have taken a man into custody after receiving reports of a person throwing neon tube lights off a roof, according to an officer.

The incident happened yesterday (Saturday, July 24).

Inspector Darren Taylor said, “Team attended Station Road, Burgess Hill earlier at 2pm due to reports of a male on the roof of the old post office building throwing neon tube lights onto the road, which of course were smashing everywhere.”

After arriving at the scene the team forced entry and a male is now in custody, according to Inspector Taylor.
