An Old Town pub famous for its selection of home-made pies is set to reopen its doors today (Wednesday July 15)

The Albion, which has entrances on the seafront and George Street, is one of the most historical in the Old Town.

The pub took the opportunity to have a face-lift during lockdown with a beautiful new wall mural on the outside by local artist Alfie Chabilan

Landlord Bob Tipler said: “We are happy to announce we are back open and taking online bookings from now. Limited walk-ins will be available so we advise booking.

“We have been busy renovating the pub and making our restaurant safe for our customers and staff. We can’t wait to see you all.”

The new opening times will be 1pm - 11pm Monday to Sunday. The kitchen will be open from1pm - 4pm and 6pm - 10pm, with the last booking at 9.30pm.
