Poundland submits planning application on unit currently used by New Look

The shop chain submitted has a planning application on a high street unit currently occupied by New Look.

The application was submitted on March 29 and Arun District Council are set to decide it’s fate on May 24.

Poundland have applied for two fascia signs and one hanging sign on 4C London Road, which is currently occupied by high street fashion retailer New Look

Yesterday, the national variety chain announced it would be selling frozen food like ready meals, pizzas and pies from another 46 stores, including the Bognor Regis branch, with the new food ranges going live on June 14.

A spokesperson said: “Bognor Regis is a great location for us and we’re looking to move into a larger store where we can offer a wider range of products, including PEP&CO family fashion and chilled and frozen food.”

New Look has been approached for comment.
