Pulborough road closed due to ‘emergency’ gas main work
A village road has been closed as ‘emergency’ repairs are made to a gas main.
Part of the A283 between Pulborough and Fittleworth has been closed this morning (January 28) as SGN engineers carry out works in the area.
The road has been closed in both direction between the B2138 Lower Street to Lea Farm Lane.
According to energy providers the works are expected to last until Friday (February 1).
