The pooch with the ‘waggiest tail’, the dog most like its owner and the best four-legged friend in fancy dress will all win prizes at the rescheduled event.

The new date for the popular dog show is Sunday, October 14.

Organisers said everyone who previously entered can have their entry categories automatically transferred to the new event, they can donate their entry fee to the Rainbow Fund or apply for a refund.

New entries will also be taken on the day from 11am.

The Pride Dog show will feature awards for numerous categories, retail stalls, a glamorous catwalk doggy fashion show, bar and refreshments.

Industry professionals will be overseeing all entries and judging each category, ensuring every star pooch gets the recognition their proud paws deserve.

The event was set to take place on Sunday, July 29, but ‘inclement weather’ caused it to be postponed.
