From Huskies to Chihuahuas, Raystede is caring for a whole variety of dogs – including mixed breeds!
The charity, situated in Ringmer, says adopting through a rehoming centre can take a little extra time and patience, but the rewards are worth it.
We’ve showcased 9 of the adorable dogs currently up for adoption. Take a look below and see if you can give any of them a loving home.
More information about each dog can be found on Raystede’s website.

1. Enzo - five-year-old mixed breed
Enzo is a fun and affectionate boy with a real sensitive side. He loves exploring in the countryside then snuggling up on the sofa afterwards, but his worried by car travel. He will need a quieter walking/living environment and wouldn’t be suited to a busy town/city. Enzo is excitable around new people, therefore the charity would advise older teenagers in the home or an adult-only family. He will need to be the only pet in the home. Photo: Raystede

2. Waldo - 12-year-old Siberian Husky
Despite his age, Waldo is very exuberant and proving himself to be a cheeky chap! Waldo would like a home with a secure garden and needs owners who can provide ongoing support for his joints. He is friendly towards people and could live with older teenagers. He would likely prefer to be the only dog in the home, although may be able to live with similar sized dog. He has a high prey drive so he cannot live with cats or small animals. Photo: Raystede

3. Lady and Loki - five/six-year-old Chihuahuas
Lady and Loki are sweet friendly little dogs, but can be timid initially. They are bonded so must be rehomed together and will be best as the only dogs in the home. They have previously lived well alongside cats. They'd prefer a quieter home and being walked in quieter areas, as they may find busy environments overwhelming. Lady and Loki would like a home with their own secure garden. Photo: Raystede

4. Pumpkin - six-year-old Papillon cross Shih Tzu
Pumpkin is a very sweet but shy girl who bonds closely once she trusts you. She be more timid around men, so takes a little longer to make friends, Raystede said. She is mostly sociable with other dogs and prefers them to be polite and calm. Pumpkin is worried by lots of activity and busy environments, so she will need a quieter home and walking spaces. Raystede said Pumpkin will be a 'wonderful addition to a lucky family'. Photo: Raystede
