Road into Alfriston closed due to flooding

Heavy rain has caused flooding in the Alfriston area – forcing roads to close.

Alfriston Road between the village and the Lullington Road junction is impassable due to flooding, according to traffic reports.

Litlington Road is also reportedly submerged and impassable.

Motorists are being advised to not attempt to drive through the water.
