Sadie was removed from a hoarding situation with about 200 other dogs in her previous home, according to the RSPCA. Due to her background, she is a nervous girl who is quite independent, and is looking for a specific home. The charity said she needs a quiet household without children or lots of people coming and going. She will need a familiar routine and walks in places that are not busy with lots of other dogs. She will also need a very secure garden and any fences need to be 6ft high. She can be quite reactive to other dogs when out on walks, the charity added, so any new owner will need to be prepared to put lots of time into her training. Photo: RSPCA
18. Casper -
Casper was sadly an unclaimed stray, and has been described by the RSPCA as a very sweet, friendly boy who loves attention and enjoys his walks. He will chase toys but needs to learn to bring them back! Casper is not too keen on being left on his own and may have a bit of separation anxiety so he will need a home where he will not be left on his own initially. He is sociable with other dogs and has already made lots of canine friends at the shelter. Casper may benefit from living with an already established, female dog. He needs a home without cats or small animals. Photo: RSPCA
19. Reggie - five-year-old Lurcher
Reggie has been described as 'a lovely boy' who is very calm indoors and likes to snooze on the sofa. He struggles with reactivity to cats and some dogs outside, but has improved on this significantly in his previous home. He is not able to live with other dogs, cats or small furry animals, and is looking for an adult-only home. Reggie enjoys walks on the beach and countryside and loves chasing a ball. Photo: RSPCA
20. Spencer - one-year-old Whippet cross
Spencer is a friendly, lively boy who was a little shy on arrival but soon became the bouncy, confident boy he is now. He will need a little training and an active owner who can keep up with him and stop him from becoming bored. The RSPCA said Spencer has been good with other dogs while in the charity's care, and he may be able to live with another dog in his new home after successful introductions. Spencer is a new arrival who is still being assessed at the moment. Photo: RSPCA
