Sage House staff dress up for dementia

Staff at Sage House in Tangmere have been keeping themselves and their clients entertained by dressing up to raise funds for dementia.

Sage House is a community centre, where people can access the most up to date support, information and advice about dementia. To entertain clients and carers during these ‘unprecedented times’. staff have run fancy dress days. A spokesperson for the charity said: “Originally after getting fed up roughing it in jeans and t-shirts, they decided to put on fancy clothes and encourage others working from home to do the same and donate £5 at the same time. This dress up turned into themes and, to date, they have covered Disney, movies, pop stars, 1980s, 1920’s in respect of Dame Vera Lynn, super heroes and the circus. They have had so much encouragement from friends and businesses everywhere, wanting to know what the theme is each week, via Facebook, Instagram and Linkedin that they have kept it up for 13 weeks and are still going. To support us, text D4D to 70085 to donate £5 plus your usual text charge.⠀⠀⠀If you don’t want to receive any information from us in the future text D4DNOINFO to donate £5.”
