Speedy Felpham student is first to cross the line
Felpham Community College pupil Andy O'Neill made sure his foot was firmly on the accelerator to become a go-kart motor racing champion.
The sixth form student competed in a team of four against 34 national and international teams and won the Henry Surtees Brooklands Team Challenge.
The F1 Mercedes and F1 McLaren test driving teams came in second and third, with Andy’s team beating both to gain the prestigious first place.
It was a two-hour race held at Brooklands racecourse on July 4.
