St Wilfrid’s charity shops: More stores set to open and revised opening times

St Wilfrid’s Hospice has announced more of its shops are set to reopen.

The charity’s Chidham, Midhurst and East Wittering shops, as well as the retro and vintage shop in Eastgate Square, Chichester, its donation and furniture centre in Terminus Road, Chichester, and its furniture outlet at Chalcroft Nurseries, in Bognor Regis, reopened last month after closing in March due to the coronavirus lockdown.

From Monday July 6, their opening times will now be:

• Terminus Road – 9am to 5pm.

• Chidham — 9am to 4.30pm.

• Chalcroft Nurseries – 9am to 5pm (Wednesday to Sunday, then full week from July 13).

• East Wittering – 9am to 4.30pm.

• Eastgate Square – 9.30am to 4.30pm (Thursday to Saturday only).

• Midhurst – 9am to 3pm.

From Tuesday, July 7, the Barnham shop will also be open from midday to 4pm, then 10am to 4pm from Tuesday to Saturday thereafter.

The Selsey shop will reopen on Monday July 13, from 10am to 4pm, Monday to Saturday, excluding Wednesdays.

St Wilfrid’s chief executive Alison Moorey said: “In the past few weeks we have been re-opened we have been so pleased to see so many shoppers appreciating not only the fantastic goods we’ve been adding daily, but that our shops cleanliness and safety has been second to none on the high street.”

There will be bric-a-brac mystery boxes available from just £4, offering more ways to discover pre-loved treasure than ever before.

By shopping at St Wilfrid’s shops, customers can help support someone isolating at home with life limiting illness to receive the compassionate care and support they need.
