Stamp success for Horsham schoolgirl

A seven-year-old from Horsham has been named as one of the 140 regional winners in Royal Mail’s children’s Christmas Stamp Design Competition.

Molly Robson’s entry will now go through to the next stage of the competition where judges will select the top two designs from the region to go through to the final.

Molly, from Leechpool Primary School has already won £100 in vouchers and £100 for her school.

In the national final, HRH The Prince of Wales will choose two designs from 24 finalists that will feature on this year’s First and Second Class Christmas stamps.

Royal Mail has received 240,000 entries from children aged 4-11 years old across the UK in response to the question ‘What does the Christmas season mean to you?’
