The closing date for the High Sheriff of West Sussex Special Recognition Volunteer Award is fast approaching but there is still time to make a nomination.

This new award has been established to enable the High Sheriff, Dr Tim Fooks, to publicly recognise those individuals who, in a voluntary capacity, have made an exceptional difference to others through acts of kindness and service.

Recipients of the award will be contacted in October and, if Covid-19 restrictions permit, a celebration event will be held in the spring of 2021.
