Brighton promenade has been taped off by coastguards as Storm Ciara continues to cause chaos with strong winds down by the seafront.

Shoreham coastguards were down at the promenade earlier today (Sunday) shortly before 2pm to tape off the walkway for the safety of the public. The Met Office issued an amber weather warning yesterday (February 8) and expects winds of up to 80mph to hit some parts of Sussex. Photos by Eddie Mitchell.
