Storrington Parish Council has said it is in discussion with two parties over the reopening of the leisure centre.
A spokeswoman for the council said while the building is owned by the Parish Council, the equipment and contents were the property of Adur Community Leisure.
She added: “However I can confirm that the Parish Council has now secured these contents and we are in discussion with two interested parties regarding the resumption of the business.

Hide Ad“The Leisure Centre is a highly valued community facility and the Parish Council is very keen for it to be re-opened as soon as possible but the actual time scale is yet to be agreed and we are still in the process of sourcing the necessary funding required to support the centre in its first few months.”
