The group says is has been providing a skeleton service throughout covid restrictions with support from Sussex Police and has been reminding drivers of the speed limit in the area to keep other road users and pedestrians safe.

Once restrictions are lifted, the group says it plans to raise its profile by recruiting more volunteers to mount more roadside sessions on Storrington’s busy roads.

Members say that a second laser device will enable them to increase the number of sessions by a third.

A crowdfunding bid will be launched this month aimed at raising £3,000+.

The group is seeking support from local residents and businesses.
