The message, which was held up on pieces of A4 paper by the staff from the emergency department, said, “Thank you Sussex Police. #FrontLineTeam. #ThinBlueLine.”

Officers from Sussex Police responded on Twitter on Monday (April 27) saying, “We’re completely humbled by this message from Eastbourne’s A&E staff after our local team showed their appreciation for the NHS during ClapForCarers night.
