Technical rescue officers called to help a horse in Arundel
TECHNICAL rescue specialists are helping a fallen horse in Arundel this morning (Wednesday, November 26).
The specially trained officers, who are part of the fire service, are helping to devise a ‘lifting strategy’ for the stricken animal, which is located in a veterinary practice in Ford Road.
On West Sussex Fire and Rescue’s official Twitter account, a spokesman said: “Animal rescues are just part of our technical rescue unit’s diverse role. They’re currently assisting a fallen horse in Arundel.”
