Later in the morning the Archbishop moved on to All Saints Hove where met a number of refugees and representatives from The Network of International Women and was fulsome in his praise for the church.

All Saints quoted the Archbishop on its Facebook account: “This is church as it should be, it’s utterly diverse, it’s immensely hospitable, it’s giving to people in need. It’s just beautiful.”

The church thanked everyone who joined the Archbishop for the International Women’s Day-inspired event in partnership with the Network of International Women ‘sharing the stories of refugee and migrant women in Brighton and Hove’.
