Property Detective has crunched the numbers to reveal England’s most family friendly postcodes.
The analysis, which has been shared exclusively with the JPIMedia Data Unit, took into account the availability, quality and proximity of a wide range of amenities and services within every postcode district.
These included factors such as: schools, nurseries, parks and playgrounds, maternity units, NCT groups, chemists and shops.
Each area was then crunched down to a single number between 0 and 100, with the highest scores signifying the best potential areas for starting and raising a family.
Three places in Sussex features among the top 20 postcodes in the South East.
– BN45 in Mid Sussex (scoring 84 when it came to starting a family, and 94 when it came to raising one)
– BN7 in Lewes (77 for starting, 84 for raising)
– BN13 in Arun (76 for starting, 83 for raising)
Only four areas in the South East achieved a top score of 100.
These were SL4 in Bracknell Forest, ME20 in Maidstone, MK17 in Milton Keynes and RG10 in Windsor and Maidenhead.
