The awards were presented to children nominated for values each school holds in high regard. Henry Adams estate agency sponsored the awards and presented engraved trophies to the winning children in each school, ranging from Haslemere to Chichester.

Kevin Daymond of Henry Adams in Selsey, said, “It was a privilege to present this award to Ieva at Medmerry Primary School. Her teachers explained that Ieva has shown a can-do attitude, respectfulness, friendliness, and enthusiasm, along with working very hard. This is seriously impressive and I think there’s a very bright future ahead for Ieva - as well as for all the other amazing children who achieved these special awards.”

Dee said, “The schools nominated the children for character values rather than academic or sporting achievements which are often separately celebrated.

"At Henry Adams, we endeavour to bring our values such as teamwork and dedication, so we wanted to celebrate the importance of positive characteristics with some of the younger members of our communities.

“Well done from all of us at Henry Adams to all the winners, it’s inspiring to see the fantastic young people in our communities and thank you to all of the schools taking part.
