Two men taken to hospital in serious condition after incident in Hastings

Paramedics arrived at the scene, close to Rock-a-Nore Road, Hastings, at 11.15am on Thursday (October 8).
A spokesman for the South East Coast Ambulance Service said two people had been pulled from the sea.

Hide AdThey received emergency treatment at the scene before being taken to Conquest Hospital in a serious condition, the spokesman added.
Ambulance crews were joined at the scene by the air ambulance service which attended in one of their road vehicles.
A spokesman for Sussex Police added: “Emergency services were called to East Beach Street, Hastings, around 11.20am on Thursday (October 8) after two men got into difficulty in the water.
“Both were pulled from the sea and received treatment from emergency services at the scene before being taken to the Conquest Hospital in a serious condition.
“There are no suspicious circumstances and no further information is available at this time.”
