Two taken to hospital after collision in St Leonards

Two people were taken to hospital following a collision in St Leonards.

Police and paramedics were called to Battle Road at approximately 10.45pm on Saturday (September 5).

A spokesman for the South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) said crews were responding to reports of a road traffic collision.

Two patients were taken to Conquest Hospital for further checks after being assessed and treated at the scene, SECAmb confirmed.

Sussex Police were also called to attend.

The road was partially blocked while emergency services dealt with the scene.
